Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

Surgical Assistants with more than two years of SFA experience, and not currently certified, must receive their certification within six (6) months of hire date.

Minimum of 1-year recent heart experience

must have experience with Hearts, VATS, vascular

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Vein harvesting experience

Previous clinical experience

Required Credentials:

New Graduate from a Certified Surgical First Assist school must receive their certification within one year.

High School diploma Graduate of an Accredited school of Surgical Technology

Graduate of Accredited school of Surgical Assistant

Special Requests: Will need to go through the Medical Staff privileging process with the hospital that can take 4 - 6 weeks, this process must start as soon as they accept - application fee (can set up a meeting to discuss)

Shift & Scheduling:

Monday to Friday

Call: 1 week on, 1 week off not a busy call-back rotation, mostly staying to finish over-run cases
