Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience is required.

Experience with Centricity is required.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

Do ratios follow AWHONN guidelines? Yes

Common diagnoses/Types of patients LDRP, Obstetrical emergencies, Hypertension, Hemorrhage...

Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes

Common titratable &/or set rate drips Pitocin, LR, Fentanyl, Labatelol

Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips? Telemetry is available. RN’s read strips in OB. Monitor techs upstairs if continuous monitoring required.

Yearly core schedules in place.

Weekend Requirement every other weekend or 1 weekend based on seniority
Holiday Requirement Per ONA contract
Is there a call or standby requirement? 2 12 hour shifts required per schedule

Floating Requirements Closed Unit, unless emergency measures in place
