Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required.

24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required.

Experience with Cerner is required.

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 36 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

Certifications

BLS (Required)

PALS (Preferred)

Guaranteed Hours 36

Weekend Requirement: every other or 4 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule

Floating: Not required but they can float to tele or OB if they want and have that experience

Beds: 45 beds total - adult MedSurg and pediatric MedSurg combined

Common diagnosis / Types of patients: MedSurg patients, COPD, post-op, GI bleeds, OBGYN surgeries, ortho

Pediatric experience preferred, if traveler does not have that experience they will not take pediatric patients
