Additional Details:

Unit dedicated to medical and surgical cardiac patients.

The remaining beds house the center’s surgical intensive care unit, most of our patients have a diagnosis of ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), cardiac arrest, heart failure (HF), and post cardiac surgery including coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery, tissue and mechanical valve replacement, valve repair, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR)

Our team is competent in several advanced cardiovascular and critical care devices including Intra-aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Impella CP and 5.5, Heartmate 2 and 3 Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD), Right Ventricle Assist Device (RVAD), Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO), and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).
