Requirements

Experience

18 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Illinois license

BLS (Required)

Vaccinations

Flu vaccination required. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Blood Product Administration, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Colostomy care and management, Feeding tube care and management, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), PCA, Surgical drains, Tracheostomy care/management, Wound Care/Wound Vac

Required Credentials: References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Parking Cost: parking permit required, no cost. Will fill out form during orientation.

Shift & Scheduling: 3x12 or 4x12

Will work every other weekend. If requested time off falls on weekend traveler would be scheduled per rotation, traveler will be scheduled additional weekend to make up for time away.

Floating Requirements: Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital/s near by
