Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 12 months of Emergency Department experience.
Experience with Epic is preferred from last 12 months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Montana license or compact license

Vaccinations

• Must have Emergency Room exp.

• Community Hospital Experience

• IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Respiratory, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Pre/Post Thoracic Surgery, Tracheostomy care/management, Gastrointestinal, Colostomy care and management, Feeding tube care and management, Genitourinary/Renal, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), Neurological/Psychiatric, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Pre/Post neurosurgery, Spinal cord injuries, Substance Withdrawal, Traumatic Brain injury, Medications, Heparin, Insulin, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, PCA, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac, Endocrine /Metabolic, IV insulin protocols, Work Settings, Med/Surg, Short Stay- 23 hour Stay Unit, Orthopedics, Ortho trauma, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Total Joint Replacements, Plastics, Surgical drains.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Previous Charge Experience

• Accessing/Managing Ports, Central line blood draw, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry.

Required Credentials:

• Certifications: Non-AHA certs accepted; Instructor, Provider, and RQI accepted.

• Clinicians selected without Epic experience will be required to complete on-site Epic training and pass a test-out before being scheduled.

Special Requests:

• Pre-Approved Time Off: One Request

• Travel Pairs: Accepted, same shift is not guaranteed.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Can be 3x12 or 4x12

• No Flex; 6 or 7 on and 7 or 8 off

• Every Other Weekend

• Rotating Shifts

Floating Requirements: Will float to Med Surge.

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
