Required Skills / Experience: RNs required to titrate drips
RNs are required to read/interpret/document strips
Required Credentials: Pass/Fail exam on Wednesdays during orientation. Open book exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass
Special Requests: An interview may not be available prior to offer.
Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
Will not take duos that want same schedule or share car
Shift & Scheduling: Self scheduling for core staff, travelers added in.
Will not approve blocked scheduling unless it's weekends only
Holiday requirements: Minimum of 2 holidays that fall within contract time frame
Weekend Requirements: Every other
Floating Requirements: Typically PCU, occasionally MedSurg- will take same ratio of patients typically assigned on these units (1/4 or 1/5)
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
