Required Skills/Experience:
• Must have General and Ortho- specifically total joints.
• Experience in similar size facilities, Trauma Level 3 & 4, &/or Critically Access Hospitals.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
• Comfortable transitioning between scrubbing and assisting.
• Plastics Experience
Required Credentials: Graduate of any accredited surgical technologist program (must be certified).
Unit/Facility Details: Rural Community Hospital
Shift & Scheduling:
• Late stay rotations and on-call rotations.
• Block Scheduling; Scheduling is done by the manager, travelers are asked to be flexible and help to fill gaps in permanent scheduling.
• Weeknight/Call Requirements: On-call, late stay rotations, 1-2x/wk. Typically M-F, 15.5hrs of weeknights call.
• Weekend/Call Requirements: On- call, 1-2x per month, 24hr call shifts from Sat 0645-0645, Sun 0645-0645.
• Holiday/Call Requirements: May be asked to Holiday Call Rotation, Day before & Day of OR Day of & Day after; if Holiday is on M or F then will include Weekend Before or After the Holiday (Ex: Memorial Day 2025 5/23-26).
• Call Response Time: 30 Minutes
Floating Requirements: May be asked to float into OR scrub role PAA/PACU, sterile processing, for helping hands.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
