Travel Nurse (RN) - PCU Float Pool

If you have a multistate license, you will be required to complete a 1-time 6-hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations.

Required Skills/Experience: PCU: Cardiac rhythm interpretation, Chest tubes, lumbar drains, traches, required IV med titration (Amiodarone, Cardizem, nitro, dopamine, dobutamine, non-DKA insulin, heparin; sometimes Cardene)

Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Respiratory compromise, Sepsis, renal failure, bleeding disorders, general medical/surgical patients, CHF, COPD, Pneumonia, General, ortho cases

ED Holding This will be the primary unit the traveler will be working (per NM 1/21/2025) Will have mixed diagnosis Will have isolation patients, non-ambulatory patients Is a fast-paced unit

Unit/Facility Details: PCU: 40 beds: 2R Obs 18 beds

• ICU patients 1:2; PCU 1:4; MS 1:5 ICU & PCU nurses will have a 1:5 assignment if MS

Shift & Scheduling: ASK IF INTERESTED IN 48-HR CONTRACT Must call RMC staffing office at least 30-45 mins to get assignment each shift. (Preferred Option). Number given during orientation. Assignment also post outside the door of the House Supervisor’s office. Must be on time to the correct unit by 0700 or 1900 Cannot clock in before 0653 Weekends will vary depending on the needs of the unit. Schedule provided 3 weeks at a time, received around 10 days prior to schedule beginning No holiday requests, self scheduling, on-call

Floating Requirements: Will be Mainly ED-HOLD FLOATING Mainly Supporting GSH 1 Dally/2 River North and South/Float Pool Teams.
