Required Skills / Experience: Must be comfortable titrating all critical drips
RNs are expected to read and interpret their own tele
Preferred Skills / Experience: Prefer prior travel experience If a 1st time traveler, then they need to have 3+ years of ICU experience & have Epic experience
Required Credentials: RN jobs in the following units: Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, ED/ER, Endoscopy, any ICU/critical care, IR, LTAC ICU, Med-Surg/Tele, Tele, PACU, Stepdown/PCU are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.
Unit / Facility Details: Each zone covers a 60 mile radius from the zone's city center which is where the 60 mile verbiage comes into play. The traveler is responsible for obtaining housing that makes this feasible as the requirement to float throughout the full 60 mile zone applies regardless of where the traveler obtains housing.
Special Requests: An interview may not be available prior to offer.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Shift & Scheduling: 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6 week schedule
May be asked to go into the Holiday Rotation
Call: Rare, for low census
Schedule is made out by leadership for 6 weeks at a time, travelers are expected to be flexible and help to fill gaps in permanent scheduling
Floating Requirement: Must float Zone 1 Floating - Penrose Hospital, St Francis, St Francis InterQuest, St Mary Corwin, St Thomas More.
May be asked to float into any other acuity level; ICU, PCU/Stepdown, & MS-Tele
Zone 1 Facilities:
You will receive a float assignment to clarify where you are working for each schedule (varies by schedule). Your first float assignment will be communicated on or before your Monday start date.
