Required Skills/Experience: Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Neurological/Psychiatric, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Gastrointestinal, Colostomy/ileostomy management/care, Feeding tube care and management, Medications, Heparin, Insulin, PCA, Respiratory, Nasal Cannula, Oral suctioning, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Telemetry - remote monitoring, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Accessing/Managing Ports, Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Pre/Post neurosurgery, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Wound Care/Wound Vac.
Required Credentials: All RNs (all specialties) must have NIHSS & EHAC within last 12 months. Certs can be obtained during onboarding.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekends: Half of scheduled shifts.
Other Requirements:
- References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
- You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
