Travel Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery Unit

RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Hard-stop: labor and post-partum experience is required

Will allow 4x12 upon request

Orientation: 40 hrs

Block Scheduling: No

Scrub Color: Provided

Return Staff Policy: 3 months to return as traveler

Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.

Housing: Please have your traveler look into housing options in the area, as options may be limited

Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adults

Daily Census: 12

Special Procedures/Unit Details: Strong Precepting skills is a Plus

RTO: Holidays: traveler must be willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year

NRP - AAP, AHA or Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS).

BLS, ACLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only

Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.
