Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 12 months of Emergency Department experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Required Skills and Experience: Must have triage experience. Must be comfortable with conscious sedation. Will consider travelers from all Trauma levels. Nurses can be asked to assist in managing any resp issues and equipment. RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot - all Resp Equipment: NC, High Flow, Cpap, Bipap, Trachs, & Vents. Nurses are asked to read and interpret their own telemetry. RN to do labs draws upon IV starts; phlebotomy available if needed.

Preferred Skills and Experience: Critical Access Experience.

Shift & Scheduling Requirements: Days, Nights. Schedule is made out by the manager; will typically make travelers schedules a block schedule of (6 on, 8 off. however, travelers are asked to stay flexible and help fill gaps in permanent schedule. Manager will work with travelers on schedule and is mindful not to make someone 1 on, 1 off. Weekend Requirements: EOW or 1-2 weekends per months. Every other for Holiday Rotation; May be asked to go in the Holiday Rotation.

Floating Requirements: None; ED staff is part of Rapid Response team and 1 ED RN may be asked to respond to RRTs and Codes in house.

Unit and Facility Details: Confirm the candidate has looked into housing in the area with the submittal. Leads available.
