Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

60 months of Trauma Level 1 facility is required from any number of months

Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 2 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

Respiratory Therapist - Inpatient

Nurses Only - BMC does not have telemetry technicians. Candidates are required to take and pass an advanced Dysrhythmia exam after an offer is extended and before accepting. 3 attempts to pass. Passing score is an 80% or the minimum of the angoff score. Will accept a previously completed exam if it's within 1 year of start date. Will also take a tele test day 1 of orientation.

Prefer 1 reference from last travel assignment. Supervisor title not accepted.

Weekends and holidays as needed

Required exp: 5+ years of recent experience in a Level 1 trauma facility

Recent critical care exp in both MICU and SICU, familiar with lung protective ventilation.

Participation on Code Blue team.

Able to make ventilator decisions based upon patient assessment and laboratory results.

Prefer exp with Level III NICU, Drager XL and v500 Vents.

Required Certs: NPS and or ACCS preferred.
