Travel Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must be willing to care for COVID-19 patients.
• Ventilator management, critical care drip knowledge, thorough and accurate assessment skills, proficient knowledge with cardiac, neuro, and respiratory systems, and donning and doffing PPE.

Unit Details:

• Procedures performed on unit: intubations, cardioversions, ventriculostomy drain placement and management, IABP management, continual renal replacement therapy (CRRT), and proning of patients.
• Tools and equipment used in daily work: ventilators, Alaris IV pumps, balloon pumps, ventriculostomy drains, glucometers, iMobile phones, and Meditech using EBCD.
• This unit cares for ICU COVID-19 patients.

Shift & Scheduling:

• All nursing shifts are twelve hours from 7 to 7; every other weekend. Holiday requirements.
• Self-scheduling within certain guidelines.

Floating Requirements:

• Nursing staff will float to other Medical-Surgical units in the hospital as needed with priority focus on pulling to Intensive Care Units.
