Travel Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• Experience caring for patients from birth to 21 years with diagnoses including (but not limited to):

• Respiratory: nasal cannula, Trilogy BiPap/CPap, all ventilators
• Chronic childhood diseases
• Sepsis, TBI, DKA, seizure disorders
• Oncology, metabolic disorders, NAT
• Surgical patients: neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, general surgery
• Equipment Proficiency: Trilogy & Drager ventilators, Codman ICP monitors, Medfusion syringe pumps, Baxter large volume IV pumps

• Travel experience in teaching facility PICU.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Will consider increased staff experience in lieu of little to no travel experience.

• 2+ years staff experience

Special Requests: No RTO approved within the first two weeks of assignment

Shift & Scheduling:

• Shift: 12H Rotating or 12H Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday, days or nights)

• No straight day positions available

Floating Requirements:

• Eligible to float to all inpatient care areas (including critical care and acute care floors). Travelers do not float to ED, OR, or inpatient Psych . • Client reserves the right to float or reassign Personnel to other areas of practice within their clinical competence to fulfill the scheduled guaranteed hours and within thirty-five (35) miles of their originally assigned facility (unless otherwise agreed to in such Personnel’s individual assignment confirmation).
