If you have a multistate license, you will be required to complete a 1-time 6-hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations.
Required Skills/Experience: Skills: PCU – PICC lines, Access ports, Cardiac rhythm interpretation, bipap management, IV medication titration, PCA’s, traches, chest tubes, general drains, ostomies, lumbar drains (rarely), PCU travelers are not required to take vented patients (updated 11/30/21).

Shift & Scheduling: You will be added to the existing schedule when you first arrive, and you will be plugged into whatever holes are existing in the schedule. Following that schedule, you will be placed in more of a pattern schedule on future schedules. No Call Required. Morning huddle before every shift. Travelers should attend to find out about anything important on the unit. Huddle starts right at 7am/7pm. Cannot clock in until 0700/1900.
Floating Requirements: PCU, ACC (Neuro/Trauma PCU), Med/Surg, ED Holding.
