Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.

Must have at least 12 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: General peds floor that is busy. We draw our own labs. Central line management. 1 year in Peds.

Special Requests:

• Ok with travel duos - duos would be on the same weekends but not able to have the same schedule.

• Self scheduling in a tiered approach.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend and holiday.

• Holiday Requirements: Every other

• No on call requirement

Floating Requirements: PICU. Can be floated to NICU if they have experience. Everyone gets floated to the adult areas as an observer depending on census.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
