Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Operating Room experience.

Trauma Level 1 experience is required from any number of months

Experience with Epic is required from last 2 years.

References

Candidates must provide 2 charge/lead references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Vermont license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Please have circulate And scrub skills checklists in packet. Must be able to scrub all specialties except CVOR cased. Must be able to scrub ALL general OR, GU, GYN, ENT, eyes, plastics, lap cases, trauma, thoracic, and vascular.

Unit/Facility Details: Public Transportation is Not accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended. Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November – April.

Shift & Scheduling: Must start 1/12 - Assignment for 16-32 weeks. Rotating between day/evening schedules. The pattern is typically three-day shifts plus one off shift. Off shift options are 0845-1915, 1045-2115, or 1245- 2315. Call is one weekday call per week plus one 24-hour call in each four-week schedule block. Must be flexible with schedule to meet the needs of the unit and patient care. Monday to Sunday.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
