Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 10 months of Emergency Department experience.
Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Additional Details:

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

Skills: Adoption / Foster Care, Emergency detention, Americans with Disabilities Act, High risk intervention patient vulnerability or safety risk, Patients with communication problems (hearing, speech), Assess response to treatment, Collect and analyze patient information, Development of problem list, Geriatric Depression Scale, Mini-mental state examination (MMSE), Review of Health history, Assists patients with navigating the Department of Children and Families (DCF) process, Coordinate services to home care and equipment following discharge, Participates in care conference activities, Cancer, CHF, COPD, Dementia, Diabetes, HIV/AIDS, Immune Deficiency, Neurological disorders, Paralysis, Psychiatric Disorders, Stroke, Provide / reinforce individualized patient/caregiver education, Emergency Department, ICU, L&D / Mother-Baby, Medical Surgical unit, NICU, Pediatrics, Psychiatric, Understanding and utilization of short-term therapy, Long Term Acute Care (LTAC), LTC/ Nursing homes, Outpatient Clinic, Physician offices/ Private Practice, Psychiatric Hospital, Rehab.

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. Certs req: AK License as LMSW or LCSW. ID: Drivers License/State ID, Government-Issued Photo ID. BLS - Must be AHA (Instructor, Provider, or RQI) or “Heart&Stroke” certification from Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation only.
