Requirements
Experience
16 months of Step Down Unit experience is required.
6 months of experience with Epic is required.
References
Candidates must provide 2 manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
License
Candidates must have a Ohio license or compact license in hand at the time of application.

All RTO to be discussed during interview and must be included at time of submission

Weekends only

PCU/Progressive care experience preferred but not required

Traveler must work at least every other holiday.

Travel reference is REQUIRED from the most recent assignment- if traveler has travel experience

PBDS Assessment is waived. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation, an acceptable score on both assessments is required. Traveler will receive 2 attempts maximum to pass, otherwise will be canceled.

BG hits of any kind are reviewed by the facility but will not accept any traveler with an open case

Facility does not accept any license hits.

EFFECTIVE 9/30/22: Nurses and CSTs are EXEMPT from Nicotine Free Facility Requirements. Exemption is temporary and will be honored until further notice. All other travelers (aside from Nurses and CSTs) MUST BE NICOTINE FREE - Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) Drug screen required within 12 months of start. Must be updated annually.

Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date.

IMPORTANT - BCI/FBI prints are time Sensitive - Must completed within 48 Hours of signing contract.
