Requirements

Experience

24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.

Trauma Level 3 experience is required from any number of months

References

Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a California license

Vaccinations

Unit/Facility Details: Ratios: 1 to 1 and 1 to 3; Peds 1 to1 or 1 to 4 (PICU 1 ot 1 or 1 to2 NICU 1to1 through 1 to 3 , ped unit 1 to 4 could be less

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

• Holidays: 2 major

• Call: Sometimes, low census (Standby)

Floating Requirements: First to float. NICU float to Nursery and Peds; Mother Baby (not typical)only if they have that experience, lenient with ped experience, level 3 NICU

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
