Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 18 months of Surgical Intensive Care Unit experience.

Trauma Level 2 experience is required from the last 2 years

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from any number of months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license

Additional Details:

RNs Only: Recent experience at a level 1 trauma center is required.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Advanced hemodynamic monitoring

• ICP Monitoring (SICU/NCCU)

• Ventilated patients iv. Pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications v. Assist with line insertion and maintenance vi. Lines /tubes/ drains for post surgical patients

• PA lines and waveform interpretation (CVCC)

• Must be able to take fresh OR surgical patients from the OR and recover them (extubate, wean sedation and pressors following DHMC protocol)

• Comfortable with CRRT, and post code patients, sepsis, cardiogenic shock states, and advanced heart failure on multiple inotropes and pressors

Unit/Facility Details: SICU RN in CVCC Unit

Shift & Scheduling:

• All Shift Options Available (Straight Days, Straight Nights or D/N Rotate) - 36 or 48's hrs/wk - 48's are approved for this contract only

• Start Dates: 12/8, 12/22 Starts only
