Requirements
Experience
12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Travel experience is preferred from any number of months.
Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.
Experience with Altera Digital Health a Harris Company is preferred from any number of months.
References
Candidates must provide 1 manager/supervisor reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role
Candidates must provide 1 reference from within the past 3 years in order to be considered for this role

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Cardiac Telemetry, MS/Tele, Telemetry, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips - no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips - no titration, PCA, Titrate Cardiac drips, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac, IV insulin protocols, Total Joint Replacements, Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, TR Band, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Community Hospital Experience

Feeding tube care and management, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Mastectomy, Surgical drains, Ortho trauma.

Required Credentials: Drivers License/State ID

Unit/Facility Details: Facility will consider travelers who are 50+ miles from the facility on a case by case basis
