Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Work Setting Experience: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab.

• Cardiac Cath Lab Procedure Skills/Experience: Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult, IABP Placement/Removal, Interpretation of Dysrhythmias, Left Heart Catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Right Heart Catheterization, Rotablader Atherectomy, Scrub Procedures.

• Procedural Responsibility Skills/Experience: Equipment Setup, Recognition of Life-Threatening Arrhythmias.

• Infection Control Skills/Experience: Isolation Precautions, Sterile Technique.

• Age Specific Competencies: Middle and Older Adult.

Required Credentials: BLS/ACLS: RQIs are not accepted.

Unit/Facility Details:

• Parking Cost: Parking permit required, no cost. Will fill out form during orientation.

• Proof of Identification: Drivers License/State ID

• References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

Special Requests: Discuss block schedule requests with manager.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Assignment Duration: Candidate can choose between 13 to 26 weeks.

• Weekend Requirement: Will work 2 to 3 weekends per contract.

• On-Call Requirement: As needed, rotating with staff and agency. Call frequency details to be discussed with manager, flexible per census.

• Open to any shift; 5x8s, 3x12, 4x12s, 4x10s.

Floating Requirements: Floating is 100% required of all travelers. Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital/s near by.
