Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

12 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.

Must have at least 24 months of Emergency Department experience.

3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 2 references from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a New York license

BLS (Required)

Additional Details:

PAPR & Fit Testing Requirement: PAPR use is not guaranteed across all departments and must be flagged at submission. All applicants must be willing to shave to pass the mandatory N95 fit test to avoid a rescinded offer.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have Hospital experience. Must be in Med Surg.

Required Credentials: Completion of educational program for licensure as a LPN. .Successful completion of required New York State Department of Health LPN IV Therapy Initial Program for the demonstration of competence in the performance of intravenous therapy/blood administration procedures as part of Centralized Orientation. Successful completion of annual unit-based review & update program in procedures associated with intravenous therapy.
