Additional Details:

Guaranteed Hours 40

Shift: Prefer that candidate work 5 x 8 hour shifts, but also flexible to have 4 x 10 hour shifts - 6:30AM-3:00PM or 6:30AM-5:00PM - They will not do 12 hour shifts for this role.

Would need to be present before the start of their assigned shift and be present for the majority of that shift.

The nurse to patient ratio is based on acuity, but majority of the time it is 1:3.

Level III NICU, majority of babies are Level II, growers and feeders at 24-25 weeks. Will only transfer babies to another hospital if they have a cardiac diagnosis.

2 years Charge Nurse or Lead Nurse experience, and 1 year Supervisor experience ALL required.

The candidate needs to have recent patient care experience as they will work on the NICU taking care of patients as needed. While it is a possibility they will work on the unit, it is more likely they will handle administrative tasks such as staffing, compliance, regulations, working with education department, ect.

BLS Must be AHA
