Requirements

Experience

12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience with 9 months within the past 12 months.

3 months of experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

References

Candidates must provide 1 charge/lead reference from within the past 12 months in order to be considered for this role

License

Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 2+ Years of Hosp/Specialty experience. Family centered care

Preferred Skills/Experience: CPN. Care for infants requiring CPAP or Ventilation. Experience with Central Lines. Stabilization experience/attending deliveries Developmental care.

Unit/Facility Details: n: We will staff with a minimum of 2 NICU RN’s per shift. We will have 24/7 in-house Neonatal Nurse Practitioner coverage along with 24/7 in-house OB hospitalist and anesthesiologist.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend – Every other.

Floating Requirements: As needed, to nursery.
