Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Types of Cases: Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, sEEG, Neurotelemetry, Ictal SPECT, routine EEG, Trauma, Critical Care
- Collodion/glue EEG hook-up
- Experience with Adult Inpatient, Adult Outpatient, Adult ICU, PICU patient populations
- Experience with Electrode Placement, Long Term Monitoring/Video Monitoring, Portable Recording, Sleep Deprived EEG, Sleep EEG procedures
Required Credentials:
- Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Special Requests:
- Pay package can vary depending on which shift.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Shift: 3x12's Rotating 7:00-19:00/19:00-7:30
- Call: Required
- Weekend coverage: 2 positions will be all weekend coverage.
Floating Requirements:
- Possibility of floating to Methodist Hospital when needed.
- Must be okay with all patient populations and floating between Riley (peds hospital) and Methodist if asked.
- Candidates will float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital/s near by.
Facility Policies:
- IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities. Exceptions include: Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS.
- Consecutive Contract Policy: Current or past IU travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment anywhere within IU Health are required to take a designated break to reset travel eligibility effective 2/24/26. This break must be taken in one consecutive period and cannot be split up under any circumstances. Out-of-state residents: require a 3 month/90 day break to reset eligibility prior to the traveler’s year mark. In-state residents require a 6 month/180 day break to reset eligibility prior to the traveler’s year mark.

- Emergency Department, NICU, Level 1 Trauma, Ambulatory EEG, Assist with EMG/Nerve Conduction Studies, Auditory Evoked Potentials, EMG, Motor evoked Potentials, SSEP Somatosensory Evoked Potentials, Assist with Nerve Conduction Studies (Electromoygraphy), Auditory Evoked Potential, Motor Evoked Potential, Somatosensory Evoked Potentials (SSEP), Visual Evokes Potential, Check, 0perate and calibrate electromyographic equipment in accordance with standard procedure
