Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Solid understanding of all aspects of Respiratory care.
Required Credentials: Associate’s degree - Respiratory Therapy
Shift & Scheduling:
- Weekend Shifts: 3 weekends in 6 weeks, every other weekend at best
- Holiday Shifts: rotation of major - there are 6 Carle holidays
Floating Requirements: Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
Temp Illinois licensure is not accepted.
Travel Respiratory Therapist Job Responsibilities & Salary
Respiratory Therapists care for patients who have pulmonary diseases, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and who have lung dysfunction because of another condition, such as acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) caused by sepsis or trauma.
