Required Skills/Experience:

• Adult critical care experience required.
• Airway Management Devices/Suctioning required: Endotracheal tube/suctioning, Extubation, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oropharyngeal/suctioning, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy/suctioning.
• Medication Administration required: Albuterol, Inhaled Flolan, Inhaled steroids, Lidocaine, Nitric Oxide (iNO), Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Xopenex.
• Medication Delivery Systems required: Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach, Metered dose inhaler.
• Nebulizer required: Hand held, T-piece, Trach collar, Ultrasonic.
• Oxygen Therapy required: High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC).
• Ventilator Management required: BiPAP, CPAP, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation.
• ABG interpretation required.
• Skills: Adult Critical Care, Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI), Atrovent, Combivent, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Oral/nasal Suctioning, Tracheostomy care/management

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Teaching hospital experience preferred.
• Trauma Level I Experience

Shift & Scheduling:

• Weekend requirement: Every third.

Floating Requirements:

• All travelers will float within service line, including affiliate hospitals nearby.

Special Requests:
