An interview may not be available prior to offer.
ER float positions will require floating between different ER satellite locations in the area. A home base facility will try to be established, however this may not be the facility the clinician is regularly at. A schedule will be made in advance, so clinicians is aware of what location they'll be reporting to.
Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Submission Limit: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Required Skills/Experience: Experience working with children is required. Must take care of adults as well.
Special Requests: Clinician must take and pass dysrhythmia exam within two attempts prior to signing contract. If clinician fails to score 80% in two attempts, then they will be DNU for CS AZ and Sacramento for 6 months. RN jobs in the following units: Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, ED/ER, Endoscopy, any ICU/critical care, IR, LTAC ICU, Med-Surg/Tele, Tele, PACU, Stepdown/PCU are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.
Shift & Scheduling: EOW, Nights, First to Float. Weekend Requirement every other weekend, Friday and Saturday for Nights. Holiday rotation to distribute holidays fairly. If low census, staff rotates standby turns.
Floating Requirements: Float into our MCU or MST unit to care for adult MST, also Cross train and float to the birthing unit to care for mom-baby Couplets. Would not go to west campus. IF they have experience in Labor and delivery, they can float there as well.
