    Additional Details:

    Required Skills/Experience:

    • Arterial line management; BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance; care of ventilated patient; central line care/management; continuous IV sedation; interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs); interpretation and management of dysrhythmias; management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure; post neurosurgery management; suctioning (ETT, NT); titrate cardiac drips; titrate vasoactive drips; surgical and neuro skills

    Preferred Skills/Experience: Neuro ICU experience if able; CVA/acute stroke management; external ventricular drain (EVD); ICP monitoring; lumbar drains; post craniotomy

    Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract; no exceptions. Candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility. Anything more than 7 days of total RTO may delay the offer while client approval is obtained. Must request all RTO / specific scheduling requests up-front during submittal. Post-submittal/offer RTO may not be considered or granted. Inflexibility beyond contracted schedule and/or RTO may lead to termination of contract and system DNR. Can only be submitted to 1 Providence facility at a time.

    Special Requests:

    • Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 Request
    • *Anything more than 7 Days will potentially delay your offer while we run approval by the client. To minimize turn around please limit total RTO requests.. Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Xmas Eve, Xmas Day, NYE, NYD)
    • MUST request all RTO / specific scheduling requests up-front during submittal. Post submittal/offer RTO may not be considered or granted. Inflexibility beyond contracted schedule and/or RTO may lead to termination of contract and system DNR.

    Shift & Scheduling: No on-call. Every other weekend required. 48 hours approved. Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.

    Floating Requirements: Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.

    Details:

    • AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
