Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Cardiology or IMC experience; 1 year but prefer 2 years IMC or Cardiology experience
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- IMC & Cardiac Care
Preferred Credentials:
- Higher degree in nursing preferred
Shift & Scheduling:
- 36 per week or 48 per week (3 12's or 4 12's) depending on agreed contract
- Weekend hours: Varies – two week pay period that starts on every other Monday and ends on Sunday shift
- Call requirements: None
Floating Requirements:
- Normal floating will be to PCU, Medical, Surgical, Nephrology

Job responsibilities of a Step-Down nurse include maintaining ventilators, administering treatments and medications, collaborating with members of the healthcare team, and interacting with patients and their families. Registered Nurses who specialize in Step-Down Unit will need BLS and ACLS certifications. They will manage many high-risk IV medications such as Heparin or Insulin infusions. Step-Down Unit (SDU) Travel RN Jobs in New Mexico
