Required Skills/Experience:
- Needs to have Cardiac/CVICU ICU experience. No neuro. ICU, ventilator management, arterial line management, pulmonary artery catheter management, pacemakers, impellas, balloon pumps, LVADs. Acute heart failure, CHF exacerbation, fluid overload, post cardiac arrest, complete heart block, cardiogenic shock, pre-heart transplant, arrhythmias, ventricular tachycardia. vasoactive drips, central lines, PA/TVP catheter monitoring, Dialysis, foley. intra-aortic balloon pumps, LVADs, Impella. Will need to pass Relias EKG exam.
- Required Skills: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), Cardiovascular, CABG, CVP Monitoring, IABP, Impella, Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR), Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, TAVR, Valve Repair/Replacement, Epicardial Pacing Wire Care, CVVHD/CRRT, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Procedural Sedation, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, BiPAP/CPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, Interpretation of ABGs, Respiratory failure, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Phlebotomy, Cardiac Monitoring, Dysrhythmia Management, Multisystem Organ Failure, EKG/ECG, IV therapy, Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central/PICC line care, Starting IVs.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), Post Cardiac Surgery (directly from OR), Sheath Removal, LVAD/RVAD, IV insulin protocols, Chronic/Acute Renal failure, Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, CVA/Acute Stroke management, Fresh tracheostomy, Pulmonary edema, Pulmonary embolism, Infection Prevention.
Special Requests: RTO Restrictions: For time off, will allow up to 2 requests, no more than a total of 40 hours (5 days) of time off during contract. No RTO the first week of an assignment. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe. No medical marijuana cards accepted.
Shift & Scheduling: Can sign for 36 or 48 hours per week. BJC policy: Every other weekend required. 16 weeks preferred, but will take 13 weeks
Floating Requirements: Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes within service line when needed.
