Required Skills/Experience References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. MS and oncology experience in checklist. Telemetry monitoring, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response Teams, Feeding tube care and management, Blood product administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, Nasal cannula administration. Must meet experience requirements within the 3 most recent years. However, must have at least 1 year of CURRENT specialty experience for a clinical pass.

• Inpatient oncology, Chemotherapy, IV Therapy/Infusions, Professional Knowledge and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Telemetry Interpretation

Preferred Skills/Experience Heme Onc experience is strongly preferred.

• BMT, Leukemia/Blood Dyscrasias, Multiple Myeloma, Lymphoma/Non-Hodgkins lymphoma, Recognize/communicate abnormal lab values, Administration of blood & blood products, Care and management of ports, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, Accessing/Managing Ports

Required Credentials Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Preferred Credentials Oncology Certified.

Special Requests You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. Can not apply to any James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities if you have an active application to any of the Ohio State University facilities. RTO required with submission

Shift & Scheduling If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department’s needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time.
