Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Must meet experience requirements within the 3 most recent years. However, must have at least 1 year of CURRENT specialty experience for a clinical pass.
- Patient Age group: Adults
- Patient Diagnoses: Hemorrhagic shock, Hypovolemic shock, Sepsis, Septic shock, Pneumonia, ARDS, Craniotomy, Ischemic stroke, Hemorrhagic stroke, Intracranial hypertension, Delirium
- Special Procedures/Unit Details: External Ventricular Drain management, ICP monitoring, Massive Transfusion Protocol, Mechanical Ventilation, Heated High Flow, Bipap, CPAP, Tracheostomy management, CRRT, Vasopressors titration
- Can not apply to any James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities if you have an active application to any of the Ohio State University facilities.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Oncology experience preferred, but not required.
Required Credentials:
- Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
- References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
- You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Special Requests:
- RTO required with submission, must be built into contract.
Shift & Scheduling:
- If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department’s needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time.
Floating Requirements:
- Travelers may float to James MICU or UH MICU/SICU. May also float to M/S or PCU units.
