Required Skills/Experience:
C-section experience required
Must be proficient in fetal monitoring and the actions taken for fetal distress.
Must be able to care for patients with pre-eclampsia
Special Requests: References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: 3 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule minimum. Some like to work all weekends and others don't like to work them at all. As long as it's covered, it really doesn't matter to me. Call: one shift per 4 week schedule
Floating Requirements:
May float to ED or MS if experienced. May float to other units of hospital (usually MedSurg) if needed
Must be able to function in L&D and couplet care (they don't always utilize their LDRPs as couplet care beds, but can do so if census is low).
