Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Circulating required. Must have extensive experience in Hepatobiliary, Whipple, and abdominal organ transplant. Proficient in complex spine, ENT, neuro, and intrabdominal transplant. Case mix includes neurosurgery cranial and spine, orthopedic spine, ENT, transplant, and Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) surgery.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Scrubbing optional. Teaching hospital experience preferred.
Special Requests: First-time travelers accepted only with experience in Neuro/Spine/ENT. No medical marijuana cards accepted. RNs only - clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Unit/Facility Details: Parking Cost: • Monthly parking passes available. Travelers can reach out to Public Safety for parking passed and speak with them about what is available. Security and Parking: 314-362-0750 o North Surface Lot-$73 (price and availability may vary) o Clayton Ave. Building Southeast Lot- $63 (price and availability may vary) o Clayton Taylor Garage- $73 (price and availability may vary) • For orientation: park in the Laclede Garage (4929 Forest Park Ave, St. Louis Mo. 63108) for which there is a $15.00 charge. Pull a parking ticket and take with you. Barnes does not validate or reimburse for the charge. Wear scrubs. • If you are working a straight night shift: If you are working straight night shift, there is no charge for parking, and you may park in the employee parking (you will receive parking information during orientation). • If you will be working a day/night rotation: you will have to obtain a parking pass for which there is a $70.00 fee per month. The garage that you will be parking in will be Clayton/Taylor Ave location. Bring your license plate number with you on your first day.
Shift & Scheduling:
- 3-4 weeks out per compliance tier -Every other weekend required. On-call after shift until 6:30 AM possible on weekdays; response time is 45 minutes. Amount of call is dependent on unit needs and may change. Current average is one 12-hour weekday call shift and one weekend Saturday and Sunday shift per 6-week schedule, for 5-6 call shifts in a 6-week period. If on call after midnight, the team member is given up to 8 hours of rest time. Due to daily staffing, the team member may still be called in to provide breaks, lunches, or shift relief. Example: if a regular next-day shift is 6:30 AM-7:00 PM and call runs until 2:00-3:00 AM, they may go home to rest and could potentially be called in around 11:00 AM-12:00 PM and kept until 7:00 PM.
Floating Requirements: Floating to skill set level.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
