Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience:
- Trach chare, chest tube management, PIV starts, glucommander, insulin drips, heparin drips, drips to titrate to HR NOT BP
- Strong clinical assessment and time management
- IV insertion and Maintenance skills
- Cardiac monitoring and interpretation
- Care coordination with interdisciplinary teams
- Discharge planning knowledge and patient education
Required Credentials:
- BCR (Basic Cardiac Rhythm) – test completed during onboarding
- ASN/BSN
Unit/Facility Details: Parking: Free? Have free parking around campus or can pay to park in parking decks.
Special Requests: RTO Requests: Manager approval
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend. Holiday Requirements: Travelers will work 75% of holidays.
- Weekend rotation: 5-6 weekend shifts out of 12 (on a 6-week schedule)
- Holiday Expectations: work one shift of each major holiday (Thanksgiving Day or day after + 12/24 or 12/25 + 12/31 or 1/1)
- Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks
Floating Requirements: All Med Surg/Tele units.
