Must have NYS Nursing License Registration and NYS Copy of Physical License/Diploma for submission.
All time off and special requests should be discussed directly with managers upon arrival (no pre-approval).
Clinicians must start assignments within 30 days of receiving an offer.
Individual Professional Liability coverage is mandatory for assignment duration (Only individual malpractice insurance is accepted by the facility).
Overtime not allowed at NYCHH facilities (requires written manager approval in rare cases).
Required Skills/Experience: Two (2) years of Med/Surg experience.
Wound and Colostomy experience.
Required Credentials: Associates Degree (ASN, ADN) from an accreditated Nursing Program.
Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) issued by the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB). -Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON) issued by the WOCNCB. -Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) issued by the WOCNCB. -Certified Wound Specialist (CWS) issued by the American Board of Wound Management (ABWM). -Wound Care Certified Certification (WCC) issued by the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO).
