Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Must be able to read telemetry.
- Psych/behavioral health ED experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Pediatric experience is strongly preferred but is not required.
Required Credentials:
- Medication and telemetry exams are required at orientation; both are pass/fail with 1 attempt, study materials are provided between compliance and FDIs, and the contract is canceled immediately if either exam is not passed.
Special Requests:
- Block scheduling is not guaranteed.
Unit Details:
- Level I Trauma Center.
- Neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Shift start time 7:00 PM with flexibility to start four hours prior to or four hours after posted start time based on limited critical department need; very rarely flexed and only when there is an urgent staffing need.
- Will not allow for more than 2 weeks off.
- Must work one of the major holidays during the contract.
- Every other weekend.
