Additional Details:
At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to. Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and teaching facility.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Greater than 3 years of ER experience required.
- ER nurses must be able to interpret cardiac strips.
- Must be able to titrate drips (Propofol, Cardizem, insulin).
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Charge nurse experience preferred.
- Willingness to train to House Supervisor is an added bonus.
Special Requests:
- Must take a full 6 months off from any Sanford Health or Good Samaritan Society location.
- Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
- If previously worked with Marshfield, end date must be at least 6 months prior to submission.
- Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
- Block scheduling available to some extent for night shifters.
Unit Details:
- Charge Nurse may take patient assignments.
- On occasion, nurse aids are present but not always.
- 24/7 Respiratory Therapy in house for vents, CPAP, BiPAP.
- No monitor techs.
- Common diagnoses: STEMI, trauma, stroke, COPD, CHF, sepsis.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every third weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
- Every other holiday.
