Additional Details:

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Manager is looking for a Cath lab nurse; however, will accept an IR nurse if the clinician holds IR and no cath lab experience. Does not accept first-time travelers. Blood/Blood Products Administration. Cardioversion / Defibrillation. Cooling / Warming Blanket. Obtain 12 Lead EKG. Syringe Pumps.

Required Credentials: Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past. If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations.

Special Requests: RTO must be listed at time of submission. Perm candidates of any Providence/Swedish facility are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated for at least 3 months.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Cardiac catheterization or interventional radiology; STEMI; EP lab; interventional and procedural cases. Biopsies, GI/GU/renal, peripheral vascular, and stent placement.

Shift & Scheduling: On-call requirement: One weekday and one weekend per month (minimum requirement). Depending on staffing and vacation, hours can vary from 8hr or 10 hr shifts, with additional days and weekends per month. Every other weekend.
