Required Skills/Experience:

• Candidates must have 2-3 years of experience.
• Must be able to circulate C-sections; scrubbing experience is not required.

Special Requests:

• Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
• Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

Unit Details:

• Ratios follow AWHONN guidelines.
• Uses FetalLink for fetal monitoring and Phillips telemetry.
• Common patient population includes high-risk deliveries, patients of any gestational age, EMT drop-offs, substance withdrawal, many Spanish-speaking patients, and patients with no prenatal care; higher-acuity patients transfer to UCLA or another facility.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend; 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule.
• Holidays are worked with permanent staff, typically one major and one minor.
• Optional call; willingness to take call is preferred.

Floating Requirements:

• First to float.
• L&D will float to postpartum, and postpartum may float to L&D; L&D nurses will also float to NICU to care for grower/feeders. L&D nurses must have postpartum experience.
