Required Credentials: You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. Pass/fail SIMs Lab on day 1 of orientation for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

Unit Details: Mainly Med-Surg with some telemetry. Patient population includes epilepsy, 24-48 Trend EEGs, brain tumors, subdural hematomas, scoliosis surgeries, traumatic brain injuries, and other neurological diagnoses. BiPAP patients; respiratory therapy manages. Will be trained to assess cranial nerves.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend requirement: 3 shifts in a 4-week period. Self-scheduling. Work into holiday rotation.

Floating Requirements: First to float to MS/Tele, possibly Westgate or AZ General Laveen Campus.
