Required Skills/Experience:

• Previous manager experience required.
• Minimum five years of experience in obstetrical nursing with demonstrated leadership abilities required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• In patient OB certification strongly preferred

Unit Details:

• Management role with staffing oversight, personnel assignments, shift huddles, schedule and timecard management, staff education and orientation, quality improvement, hiring/interviews, and performance reviews.
• Functions as charge nurse when working clinically, provides direct patient care as needed, and performs RN duties for labor and delivery, postpartum, and special care nursery.
• Oversees OB nursing, PCT, L&D scrub tech, and UC schedules.
• Kronos used for scheduling and timecard management; familiarity strongly preferred.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Mon-Fri.
• Every other weekend/holiday on call for the entire department, including L&D.
