This event is the second in the series and focuses on nursing careers beyond the bedside that are best acquired with advanced degrees. If you’ve considered going back to school for that MSN or DNP degree, Drs. Brooks and Thomas will help you think through grad school options and strategies on how you can shape your career with that advanced education.

Healthcare is not merely changing, it is being fundamentally transformed. This transformation will open new career doors beyond traditional hospital roles. It can be confusing and daunting to understand the graduate school options that can help to open those new doors. Nurses often express frustration with how little formal guidance they ever received on this important (and costly) investment in their career. This session will provide guidance on making informed decisions about your career development and trajectory.
