Grown-up vomit IS.THE.WORST!! That’s why I am a peds nurse through and through! As a new grad, I actually started off as an adult ER RN, but I enjoyed my peds ER days MUCH more than my adult ER days!

What do you wish the world knew about nursing?

We’re doing our absolute best! Being an ER nurse, families are not patient with us and expect an answer for every issue, which isn’t possible. I wish they could see Emergency Medicine from the healthcare worker’s perspective. It’s tough work, but we’re doing our absolute best.
