Bed Side Shift Reporting (BSSR), utilization of AIDET, and hourly rounding are required for this unit and all RN units.

IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Accessing/Managing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Cardiac Telemetry, MS/Tele, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Telemetry, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Renal failure, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Feeding tube care and management, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, PCA, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac, IV insulin protocols, Titration of Insulin drips, Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, TR Band, Bed Side Shift Reporting

Preferred Skills/Experience: ER Holding, Neuro Stepdown, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, Tracheostomy care/management, Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), Traumatic Brain injury, Sheath Removal, Total Joint Replacements

Required Credentials: BSSR Attestation

Pre-Approved Time Off: 1 Request

Floating Requirements: Float required to other MS floors. May be required to float to ER hold.
